2014 JAHC Continuing Education Opportunities

The 2014 Joint American Homeopathic Conference (JAHC) Advancing Practice: Approaches to Acute and Chronic Care is the 9th annual gathering of homeopathic organizations, practitioners, students, and home-users for a weekend of in-depth education, community-building, and networking.

This unique event brings together all facets of the homeopathic community in the US and welcomes many prominent members of the international homeopathic community as well. Attendees will be exposed to some of the world’s most renowned homeopathic expert and researchers, and educational sessions will include classical homeopathic teachings, as well as emerging techniques and theories in the field.

The educational sessions at the JAHC are generally geared towards intermediate or advanced home users of homeopathy, students of homeopathy, and practitioners of homeopathy. However, homeopathy beginners are certainly welcome and will learn a great deal over the course of the conference.

There are no special background requirements for attendance at this event – if you’re interested in learning more about homeopathy, you’re welcome!

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Credits

Message from ACHENA regarding Continued Professional Development (CPD) Hours

The purpose of professional development for the practicing classical homeopath is to fine tune skills. address gaps in practice and to provide exposure to new ideas in the field.  ACHENA applauds the National Center for Homeopathy for planning a conference with a wide range of topics and speakers covering established concepts in Classical Homeopathy as well as new developments.  ACHENA has approved a wide range of sessions for CPD hours.  In some cases, the sessions approved may present concepts and approaches that are outside of the bounds of Classical Homeopathy.  ACHENA supports academic freedom and healthy debate within the homeopathic community.   As non-licensed professional homeopaths explore these ideas and apply them in practice, it is essential that we avoid “guaranteeing” any specific health outcomes and communicate clearly that we do not diagnose or treat disease.

A total of 27 hours of CPD have been approved for this conference and, due to overlapping sessions, the maximum number of hours of CPD that an individual may accrue is 18 hours.
