An Evidence Based Case of Uterine Fibroids Cured by Pulsatilla

Uterine fibroids have been the most frequent reason for hysterectomy in females of reproductive age group. In the present case an unmarried female presented with mild pain right iliac fossa. The diagnosis was made on the basis of Ultrasonography findings. The outcome of the case was assessed by subjective measures like improvement in symptom complex and objective measures like regression of the fibroid as observed by USG. The case was successfully treated with Pulsatilla, a homoeopathic medicine from vegetable kingdom. A well selected remedy proved to be a boon for patient for which usually surgery is advised.
