Session Description:

Chronic inflammatory diseases are on the rise in every society utilizing conventional pharmacologic medicine.  These conditions of allergic, inflammatory and autoimmunity were virtually unknown a century ago, but affect 46% of the US population today.

Recent evidence from the Human Microbiome Project, of the National Institutes of Health, provides compelling evidence that the use of many conventional treatments, including antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines promote the conversion of acute conditions into chronic diseases.

This seminar reviews the human microbiome, and it’s implications on the future of health care including homeopathy.  Cases of Chronic Lyme disease will be used to demonstrate the effects of microbiome damage.
