NCH to Receive Gold Circle Award from American Society for Association Executives
(McLean, VA, April 24, 2014) – The National Center for Homeopathy (NCH) is pleased to announce that it will receive a Gold Circle Award from the American Society for Association Executives (ASAE) for its rebranding initiatives that were completed in 2013. NCH rebranded its logo, website, monthly e-newsletter, social media pages, and all other communications vehicles to better represent the vibrant, thriving, modern organization that NCH is, and to present itself as a welcoming organization where community members and visitors can trust that information it provides about using homeopathy is accurate and current. Alison Teitelbaum, NCH’s executive director, will accept NCH’s award during the Gold Circle Awards ceremony on June 17, 2014 at ASAE’s 2014 Marketing, Membership, and Communications Conference in Washington, DC.
“NCH unveiled its rebranded logo, website, and other materials in September 2013. Since then NCH has had tremendous positive feedback from their Board of Directors, members, and long-time supporters about the updated look and feel and we continue to make tweaks to the site to ensure it is meeting the needs of the entire NCH community,” said Alison Teitelbaum, NCH’s executive director. “We are thrilled that our efforts have also been recognized by ASAE, which is a distinguished organization in the nonprofit association field.”
ASAE’s 2014 Gold Circle Awards competition identifies excellence, innovation, and achievement in association/nonprofit marketing, membership, communications, and component relations programs. The 2014 competition received the highest number of entries in the history of the program, with more than 195 submissions.
“This year we had great examples of marketing, membership, communication and component relations programs, and it was a hard decision for the judges to select who should receive a Gold Circle Award,” said Mike Boa, CAE, director of communications and marketing at the Casualty Actuarial Society and chair of the Gold Circle Awards Committee. “During the Marketing, Membership, and Communications Conference, we will not only recognize the winners, but select winners will present their programs during a session to share their best practices, so attendees can learn new strategies to take back to their own organizations.”
