In September 2017, the University of California, Irvine announced it received a $200 million donation to create an interdisciplinary integrative health education center. The donors, Susan and Henry Samueli, are well-known in the integrative health community for funding the Samueli Institute and the Susan Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine.
