2015 JAHC Hotel Information

The 2015 Joint American Homeopathic Conference (JAHC) will take place at the beautiful and historic Loews Philadelphia Hotel located at 1200 Market Street Philadelphia, PA 19107. All educational sessions will take place at this hotel. The JAHC has also negotiated a special room rate for conference attendees.

Hotel Accommodations and Reservations

The 10th Annual JAHC, presented by the National Center for Homeopathy, has reserved a block of rooms for conference attendees at the Loews Hotel Philadelphia at a special rate of $159 single/double per night, plus tax. This rate is good three days prior to and three days post the JAHC, subject to rate and space availability. Complimentary internet is included for guest rooms included in this room block.

Parking

Parking at the Loews Hotel is 24-hour valet only.  The entrance for valet parking is located on 12th St.; the first garage on the right just past Market St. NCH was able negotiate a 20% discount for conference attendees for a rate of $30.40/day.

  • Attendees staying at the hotel will have the discount automatically applied to their bills prior to checking out.
  • Attendees NOT staying at the hotel (but who will be driving in and parking at the hotel each day) can pick up a discount sticker for their valet parking ticket from the JAHC registration desk. Please note that non-hotel guest attendees will need to get a new sticker for each day they park at the hotel.

Travel and Transportation

Airport

The closest airport is the Philadelphia International Airport. There are a number of options for getting to the hotel from the airport: 
 
  • Taxi Cab: Expect taxi cab fare to be between $25 and $30 each way and an approximate 15 to 20-minute ride. Taxis are available outside of baggage claim.
  • Shuttle Service: Shuttle van fare is approximately $10 per person and is also available outside of baggage claim near Regional Rail R1. Shuttle vans visit multiple hotels en route to Loews Philadelphia Hotel.
  • Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA): Catch the regional railway from the airport to the SEPTA station located across the street from Loews Philadelphia Hotel. Paying the cash fare of $2 (exact fare required) on transit services is the simplest way to ride, however tickets, tokens and passes offer additional savings. Bank & Bourbon: The newly opened restaurant, “Bank & Bourbon”, is located at the ground-level space at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. The modern American restaurant features a menu developed by Chef Thomas Harkins and an extensive bourbon program.
