Leap to the Simillimum: The Road Map of a New Path to the Remedy

Speaker

Divya Chhabra

Description

During this workshop, Dr. Divya Chhabra will show how she walks the talk about the state lying entirely in the unconscious, and the only way of truly curing a person entirely in mind and body is to find the simillimum for the state hidden there. She artfully elicits the point of origin of the chief complaints, ie in the realm of experience of the 5 senses, then follows the call of the unconscious, in the areas of food, fear and dreams, skillfully dodging the patients conscious mind and the homoeopaths prejudiced conscious mind to reach the wall between the conscious and unconscious.

Ever mindful of Hahneman’s diktat of rapid and gentle, she will then show how to gracefully leap the wall [rather than break it down] and reach the unconscious. Once there the state words of experience elicited in the chief complaint spontaneously confluence with the source of the remedy itself.

Bio

Dr Divya Chhabra, with 21 years of homoeopathic practice, has tread the ladder to the simillimum, exploring every rung with care and depth. She walked through the rungs of rubrics, remedy pictures, provings, and delusions before reaching the present vantage point of the ‘Leap to the Similimum’.

On this journey she conducted provings of Lac Felinum, Mag Sulph, Thea,Cit-l, Lac-def, Lac Humanum, Tungsten, Bat, Lac Rhesus, Eagle. She also clarified the grey area of potency through 2 potency provings, Nat-mur and Calc-carb.

While the theme of the  ‘Unconscious’ has been a constant factor and reaching the state there, through the tool of  Free Assosciation an important milestone in the journey, it is only now that it has been fully experienced.

Strategies in Managing Advanced Cancer Cases With Classical Homeopathy

Speaker

Farokh Master

Description

During this session, Dr. Master will speak about 2 cancer cases treated homeopathically and assessed using the SF 36 and Karnofsky’s scale.

Both of these cases were given no hope by the allopathic school of treatment and resorted to homoeopathy as a final option. They both had advanced pathology and homoeopathy gave them substantial relief.

The first case is one of a man having multiple recurrences of oral cancer even after surgery. After homoeopathic treatment he is under Dr. Master’s observation for more than 10 years now and the cancer hasn’t recurred.

The second case is one where homoeopathic treatment was successfully used to decrease the pathology of a cancer case and alleviating his symptoms and finally acting as euthanasia.

Bio

Dr. Farokh Master practices independently as a homeopathic physician at the Homeopathic Health Center, Mumbai, and has over 29 years of experience in homeopathic consultation all over the world. He was India’s first MD in homeopathy and the first Indian to be honored by England’s House of Lords for the propagation of homeopathic systems of medicine. He started homeopathy schools in Europe and the US called the Dr. Farokh Master Summer School. These schools are currently operating in more than 6 countries.

Dr. Master was rated as one of the Top 10 Best Homeopathic Doctors in the world by Pioneer University, Oxon U.K., and Members of the Board of the Pioneer Homoeopathic Academy of UK and is recognized and acknowledged worldwide for his contributions in the treatment of cancer & homeopathy at St Lukas Clinic of Tumor, Switzerland, Madame Curie Institute of Cancer, Paris, France, Chicago Children’s General Hospital, and other institutions.

Dr. Master is a former member of the Central Council of Homeopathy, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in India. He is the recipient of several national and international awards and honors for outstanding contribution to classical homeopathy, cancer and homeopathy, homeopathic education and other alternative therapies. He has also authored 55 books.

Four Quadrant Questioning: Toward Precision in Case Taking

Speaker

Joe Kellerstein, ND

Description

The acquisition of descriptor rich symptomatology goes to the core of practice. Hahnemann tells us that general unqualified symptoms are of little value in identifying the remedy.

Modern studies such as NLP and David Groves “Clean Language” have highly developed skillsets in exactly the realms we require.

This session will be a brief overview and training in the use of these advanced questioning techniques

Bio

On first hearing a Homoeopathic lecture over 30 years ago Dr. Kellerstein was somehow struck by the profundity of it all. He learned that once bitten by the Homoeopathic bug there is no going back.

He has now been in private practice since 1984. In addition to his Hahnemannian practice he is a Chiropractor and Naturopath. His passion has been the exploration of vitality enhancing therapies.

Homeoprophylaxis: Educating Children’s Immune Systems as a New Public Health Model

Speaker

Kate Birch, RSHom(NA), CCH & Cilla Whatcott, HD (Rhom), CCH

Description

This presentation will cover the important role of homeoprophylaxis (HP) in educating the immune system in regards to infectious contagious disease for the developing child and ways in which it can be developed as a public health model. Included will be a comparison of the goals and methods of vaccination versus HP. It will also cover how HP actually educates the immune system, aiding in maturation, and engenders a harmonious relationship between humans, bacteria and viruses.

In light of the growing epidemic of autism spectrum disorders, the session will illustrate how long-term health outcomes have been negatively impacted by three generations of vaccination which have served to increase chronic illness amongst children. We will present a viable public delivery method for widespread administration of homeoprophylaxis. Finally, the session will include the presentaiton of a feasible plan for public administration of HP, as well as preliminary data from the four-year international study we have been conducting assessing the effectiveness of HP and long term health outcomes of HP.

Included will be evidence of studies from multiple sources around the world, validating the effectiveness of HP, starting from the 1800s when Hahnemann first introduced the concept, and including the most recent studies since the year 2000.

Leprosy — the Miasm of Outcasts

Speaker

Nancy Herrick & Roger Morrison

Description

This lecture will explore the Leprosy miasm as first described by Vakil and later elaborated by Sankaran. Using video taped interviews of cured cases, the miasm will speak for itself of the deep isolation, self-hatred and disgust it causes. The lecture will contain information on the keynotes of the miasm, the main remedies included in the miasm, the differential diagnosis from related miasma. Following the lecture it should be quite easy for the student to identify patients needing a remedy from this miasm.

Bio

Nancy Herrick attended her first lecture on homeopathy in 1972 just weeks after receiving her Masters degree in psychology and child development It was then she realized that homeopathy was her true life’s calling. It was an exhilarating feeling to find this but disconcerting to realize that she had to immediately embark on a whole new intensive course of study. Never one for half way measures she sought out the best homeopathic education available but discovered that homeopathy, at that time, was a dying art and much of it she had to create for herself.

At the “Hering Family Health Clinic” in 1974 Ms. Herrick began her career as a homeopath. In 1980 she attended UC Davis and received her Physician Assistant degree/license. In 1985 she was on the founding committee behind the simultaneous creation of the now famous “Hahnemann Medical Clinic” and “The Hahnemann College of Homeopathy.”

Nancy Herrick is a widely respected homeopath and homeopathic educator. She began her extensive career as a teacher and lecturer in 1983 with the International Foundation for Homeopathy. Since that time she has lectured throughout Europe, America. Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and India. The Hahnemarin College of Homeopathy, where she was one of the main teachers, was the leading USA school training homeopaths for over 20 years. Since 2002 Nancy Herrick has developed a passion for the study of nutrition using the research of Dr.Weston Price and the Nourishing Traditions schools of thought.

Dr. Morrison attended medical school in his home state of Tennessee, graduating from the University of Tennessee in 1978. In his early career he worked as an emergency mom physician. In 1978 while still in medical training, Dr. Morrison attended his first seminar on homeopathy in Athens, Greece. Struck by the amazing results he observed in Athens, Dr. Morrison determined to return to study at the Athenian Center for Homeopathic Medicine. He spent four years learning to speak Greek then returned to Athens and completed a two-year fellowship in 1-lomeopathic medicine, eventually earning the prestigious diploma of the Athenian Center in 1984.

Upon completion of his fellowship in Greece, Dr. Morrison moved to California to assist in establishing the Hahnemann Medical Clinic and the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy. He has been one of the foremost educators and leaders of homeopathy ever since, lecturing extensively in the USA and abroad. Having published over 20 articles in most of the leading homeopathic journals in the world, Dr. Morrison began the task of writing textbooks for homeopathic practitioners. His first book, Desktop Guide was completed in 1993 followed by
Desktop Companion in 1999. His most recent work, Carbon: Hydrocarbon and Organic Chemicals in Homeopathy, was completed in 2006.

Lanthanides Remedies of Empowerment for Homeopathic Pioneers

Speaker

Jason-Aeric Huenecke, CCH, RSHom(NA)

Description

Through the lens of three recent and solid Lanthanide provings, this presentation will examine this remarkable new series of remedies, first presented by Jan Scholten in his book The Secret Lanthanides. What Scholten proposed on a theoretical basis has in fact been demonstrated in the provings: these are truly remedies for the 21st century, for our clients who have not been fully healed with the traditional polychrests. Explore the hidden realm of the visionaries, cosmically-attuned, individuals who work tirelessly, secretly ,and silently to advance human consciousness. Attendees will learn the themes shared by all the Lanthanides - themes of the cosmos, unity, and hidden power and empowerment and how to differentiate them based on the provings and short cases. This presentation will bring to life the types of clients who can benefit from these newly-discovered remedies. Finally, a description of the method used at the Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy will demonstrate the enhanced reliability and accuracy of materia medica information derived from these double-blind provings.

Bio

Jason-Aeric Huenecke, CCH, RSHom (NA) is in full-time private homeopathic practice in Stillwater, Minnesota, and is the Master Prover for the Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Returning Veterans To Civilian Life

Speaker

Renita Herrmann, CCH, RsHom(NA) & Diana Rutherford, CCH(Cand)

Description

This presentation will cover the speakers' findings on the unique manifestations of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), (m)TBI (traumatic brain injury), and MST (military sexual trauma). Many in the general population have suffered from one or more of these injuries. Many of us see the signs but don't recognize the state. They will give the practitioners useful tools to deal with these traumas, and share their strategies, protocols, and case management. Psychological profiles and pathology will be covered, as well as effective strategies for accepting veterans into your practice, with the associated difficulties and helpful solutions this population may bring.

Bio

Renita Herrmann, CCH, RsHom(NA) has her MS in Natural Health. Bowel Nosodes: When It’s Time to Go Deep

Speaker

Bara Waters, D.Hom, HMC, MSW

Description

This introduction to the bowel nosodes will help practitioners recognize appropriate situations for using bowel nosodes and help them develop confidence in integrating these powerful remedies into their practice. The presentation will explore “the what”, “the how” and “the when” of using these somewhat obscure and mysterious remedies from the deepest core of our being.

The presentation will include an introduction to the various bowel nosodes and how they have been used in homeopathy. It will explore the role of the various bowel flora in our bodies and what influences their growth and development. It will outline the traits and characteristics of each bowel nosode, their affinites in the body, and how to identify their particular uses.

The presentation will clearly delineate when and how to prescribe these remedies for maximum effectiveness in patient outcome. It will outline strategies for choosing the most appropriate potencies for patients as well as recommended dosage schedules according to potency.

It will provide a detailed materia medica of each nosode as well as brief examples of cases in which bowel nosodes have been used successfully. This presentation will greatly increase a practitioner’s confidence in how to use these powerful, but under-utilized, remedies to accomplish deeper healing in their patients.

Cell Salts:  The Spark of Life for Cells

Speaker

Tanya Renner, CCH, RSHom(NA)

Description

Mineral salts, also referred to as tissue or cell salts, are homeopathic remedies made from the macro-minerals essential to life and vitality. These mineral preparations have been widely used in Europe and around the world since the late 1800’s to support optimal nutrient balance and maintain healthy function. Proper assimilation of mineral nutrients at the cellular and tissue levels as well as elimination of metabolic by-products is essential to healthy function. An imbalance of essential minerals can lead to a wide range of complaints. When re-establishing mineral balance, people often experience relief of troublesome emotional, mental and physical symptoms.

In this session, attendees will learn how people around the world are using the homeopathic mineral salts to safely and quickly resolve common homecare complaints.

Aluminum - neurotoxin; Aluminum potentized - a wonderful medicine

Speaker

Karl Robinson, MD

Description

The documentary, The Age of Aluminum, by Austrian filmmaker Bert Ehgartner, will be screened. It details the pernicious effects of aluminum that everyone should know about. Dr. Robinson will describe how homeopathic Alumina or one of its salts can be beneficial when prescribed isopathically as well as homeopathically. Dr. Robinson believes Alumina is one of the most important polychrests and one of the most neglected.
Bio A motorcycle accident on a muddy, slippery dirt road in Gabon landed Dr. Karl Robinson, as a patient, in the Albert Schweitzer Hospital on the banks of the Ogooué River. That was in 1967 during the Six-Day-War when, while reading books of Dr. Schweitzer, he determined to become a doctor. It happened. Five years later he graduated from Hahnemann Medical College. Despite an orthodox internship and residency, he was unable to buy into the conventional model and shortly found homeopathy.

He has studied homeopathy, literally all over the world, and continues to do so. Former teacher in the IFH, the NCH and AIH, he now teaches in El Salvador and Guatemala – and has so for the last 12 or 13 years. His mission, aside from helping sick folks to get well, is to spread homeopathy and his latest endeavor, "Small Doses -- Big Results How Homeopathic Medicine Offers Hope in Chronic Disease" is now available.
