Their newsletter provides a forum for APHA members to communicate about various topics:
It’s important to note that the ICTHP newsletter isn't a scientific journal, so they aren't looking for formal papers, and cannot reprint articles that were already published elsewhere. NCH’s FREE Find a Remedy Tool The Find a Remedy tool on our website is steadily growing and is one of the two most popular sections of the website. We always welcome appropriate and concise educational content to expand it. If you are interested in contributing for any illnesses or injuries, let us know by sending suggested additions to info@homeopathycenter.org

New book! One Heart, One Mind: The Case for Healing Autism and PANDAS
Disputing that most ASD is not reversible, Fontaine empowers parents with the knowledge needed to seek alternative care. Through explanations of both ASD and homeopathy, he presents cases from his own practice that demonstrate how autism can be reversed when paired together. Fontaine outlines how he looks into both the child's history and the parents' experience of their child in order to go beyond simply treating the symptoms of the disorder. He ultimately seeks to find what is at the core of the child's suffering and how parents can help. One Heart, One Mind gives families, as well as health professionals, a fresh look at how practical solutions to autism can be discovered in a book that offers exactly what parents are seeking: Hope. |

Layers of an Onion: Principles for Treating Complex Mental Health Problems June 13, 2016, 8:00pm – 9:00pm ET Join us and Judith Acosta to learn the importance of stepping away from the psychiatric diagnosis—no matter how en vogue it may be—and into the critical world of seeing the patient, especially when mental/emotional symptoms dominate the case and there are few physical symptoms present. Judith will then go over a few unusual cases which took unexpected turns. About the presenter: Judith Acosta, LISW, CCH, is a licensed psychotherapist, crisis counselor, as well as a classical homeopath. She is the co-author of The Worst is Over (Jodere, 2002), hailed as the "Bible of Crisis Communications" and Verbal First Aid for Children (Penguin, 2010). She has written countless articles on Verbal First Aid, culture and the media, trauma, and homeopathy. She has trained paramedics, fire fighters, police officers and medical professionals in “verbal first aid” around the United States. She has also given seminars on animal-assisted therapy, trauma and burnout, stress reduction, and communication for risk management to corporations and private groups. In private practice, she specializes in classical homeopathy and the treatment of trauma, anxiety, and depression. She brings more than 25 years of successful experience to her clients. This webinar is FREE, but available only to current NCH members. Don’t have a current membership? Join online today at www.homeopathycenter.org/join.

Oh, no! You come down with a cold. You are congested and miserable with enlarged lymph nodes. But there's no time to be sick because you have clients to see and a homeopathic study group to lead this evening. You retreat to your office since the warmness of the room offers some comfort. Sadly you must cancel your plans because the pain in your forehead is now extending to your eyeballs and every time you cough mucus flies of your mouth and nostrils. What remedy do you take?
If you have a “Case Quiz” to share, send it to us at info@homeopathycenter.org. We love to feature cases submitted by our community members! |
Stories of Inspiration When my daughter was about four-years old cold sores (herpes simplex virus) developed on her tongue. They were very itchy and she bit down on them, which then caused pain. She cried, was miserable and there seemed to be no way to comfort or help her. Neither her dentist nor allopathic doctor offered any treatment or relief. A friend of mine recommended that we see her holistic doctor, whose practice included a very good homeopath. The homeopath gave her Mercurius solubilis (Merc. sol.), which worked like a miracle! I then began to learn more about homeopathy, joined a local study group, bought a remedy kit and eventually saw a practitioner myself for constitutional treatment. Our home remedy kit has been a godsend many times for fevers and other problems, especially the ones that came on at night! I even used Dr. Bach's flower remedies to help our dog during labor and afterwards. I’m really grateful for the help that homeopathy has been over the years. - Anonymous, Philadelphia, PA We LOVE to hear how our members are using homeopathy at home and we hope you will share 'Your Homeopathy Story' with us! Everyone’s story is different and we want to know how you use homeopathy in your life! Learn how to share one of your stories with NCH. |
