While teaching your grandson to fish on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, he suddenly yelps and sits down on a rock pulling off his flip flop. You see the culprit. A fish hook had made its way through the bottom of his sandal and there is a clear puncture wound on his big toe! You both return to the rental cottage for your first-aid kit. Once you get him settled on the porch you have him use some sterile gauze to catch the small amount of blood that is trickling out, but instruct him not to apply pressure and allow it to bleed freely. While cleaning the wound you notice that his toe is pale and feels a bit cold. What remedy do you give him?

Stories of Inspiration After receiving a call from the school nurse, I drove to the school to pick up my nine-year-old daughter. She had a fever, diarrhea, was vomiting, couldn’t eat anything and would only drink in sips. I gave her Arsenicum album and by the next morning she was feeling much better. Then later that same evening, her vomiting and diarrhea returned. She became very weak and my husband suggested that we soon consider going to the hospital. I decided to have one more go and put the Arsenicum album in water and let it dissolve. After that I gave it to my daughter to drink. Ten minutes later she asked for more water and then fell asleep. She woke up at 2:00 a.m. without vomiting or diarrhea and asked for more water and returned to bed. When she woke up in the morning she was a healthy child eating and drinking well. Amazing! - Marlyn Harp, London UK We LOVE to hear how our members are using homeopathy at home and we hope you will share 'Your Homeopathy Story' with us! Everyone’s story is different and we want to know how you use homeopathy in your life! Learn how to share one of your stories with NCH.

Many questions arise around becoming certified in homeopathy and being able to practice legally in the United States and Canada. Many students want to have a credential that gives legitimacy to their capability as a homeopath. What these credentials mean and how they impact the legality of practice is worthy of discussion.
