The Australian Homeopathy Campaign to Review Flawed NHMRC Report
In March 2015 the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council published a report on homeopathy research concluding that “…there are no health conditions for which there is reliable evidence that homeopathy is effective.”

This is a flawed and biased report and has had an effect not only on homeopathy in Australia, but is cited frequently by opponents of homeopathy throughout the world.

Australian homeopaths have begun a campaign to force a Senate inquiry into the report. To support this is very simple: just register your name on
their website and a letter will be sent automatically to the Australian Senate.

The campaign says that world-wide participation is important to show the Australian Senate that the world is watching. Indeed, what happens in Australia impacts homeopathy in the rest of the world.

Please share with friends, family, patients and on social media.
From the American Institute of Homeopathy (AIH)
AIH has been working to educate members of Congress and others about the benefits of homeopathy. As part of that effort, Peter Fisher, MD, developed a document titled “Why Homeopathy Matters to U.S. Healthcare” for AIH designed to increase awareness of homeopathy, its safety and supporting research. The document is available to be read and shared.
$200 Million Gift Supports Research and Education of Homeopathy and Alternative Therapies at UC Irvine
After positive experiences with homeopathy, Susan and Henry Samueli became enthusiastic advocates of homeopathy and other forms of complementary health care. That enthusiasm inspired the Samuelis to donate $200 million to UC Irvine with the intention of launching what the LA Times calls “the nation’s first universitywide enterprise to embed integrative health approaches in research, teaching and patient care.” The gift—one of the largest-ever to a U.S. public university—is poised to transform the role of homeopathy and other alternative therapies, and provide the research to build evidence of efficacy that would convince insurers to cover the cost of treatment.
However, not all media reports have been receptive to the positive impact the gift will have on integrative medicine. For a colorful response to the naysayers and critics who’ve spoken out against the benefit of the Samuelis’ gift, read the
HuffPost column
by John Weeks, longtime integrative health leader and journalist and editor of Jl of Integrative Health.

From Homeopaths Without Borders (HWB)
When disaster strikes, people and resources are stretched to the limit! We at HWB are finding that, among many other things, people on the ground in Haiti are in need of cell phones, laptops and computer tablets to help facilitate emergency care. If you can assist with any of these items, please contact us at
info@hwbna.org with particulars.

Generally speaking, donated cell phones should be unlocked and have an active SIM card, so that the phone can be activated with a new SIM card in Haiti (you may wish to contact your carrier for specific information). We hope you can help and look forward to hearing from you. Thank you!
