A Message From Deb Dupnik, NCH Executive Director
Hi everyone and welcome to the July issue of The Homeopathic Report!
We just wrapped up a very exciting conference in Baltimore, the JAHC 2019, with a star-studded line up of speakers! There were over 350 attendees who all brought very positive energy and joy to the meeting. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their praise and comments about their experience. It was wonderful to see old friends exchanging hugs, and it made me proud to be part of the team that put this all together. One first time attendee remarked to me how exciting it was to be standing next to renowned homeopaths George Dimitriadis, Miranda Castro and Dana Ullman!
We are so thankful for all the support from the homeopathic community, including schools, exhibitors, and sponsors, as well as the valuable help from the Homeopathic Action Alliance members, who helped to promote this event to their members. It’s hard to believe, but we are already planning for next year’s conference!
Save the date for next year’s conference, focusing on Homeopathy for Pain Management, to be held May 15-17, 2020, in Orlando, Florida!

If there was a message you could deliver about homeopathy, what would it be?

For those considering using homeopathy, get a good remedy kit and begin to use it in your home. It will prevent many expensive trips to the doctor and you can prevent taking expensive and harmful medications. If you have a recurring problem that is not being helped by a remedy in your kit, be sure to look in the NCH list of professional practitioners and find someone you can rely on in your area. Be patient with the homeopathic process which can take a while, but in the long run will be deeply curative.

For practitioners, listen to Miranda Castro's advice for us and be good to yourselves. Homeopathy may be the most difficult modality of healing and we must respect ourselves for the hard work we do. At the same time, have fun enjoying the satisfactory results we see in our dear and trusting patients/clients.

Migraines in Children
An observational, prospective, open, nonrandomized, noncomparative, multicenter study involving 59 homeopathic physicians and 168 children, aged 5-15 years, demonstrated a significant decrease in the frequency, severity, and duration of migraine attacks, and consequently, reduced absenteeism from school as a measure of secondary outcome. Prescriptions were individualized for each patient.

Breast Cancer
In a 2008 basic science laboratory experiment, University of Texas scientists tested the impact of four homeopathic remedies on breast cancer cells. To quote from their report:
“In this study, we compared the effects of four ultra-diluted remedies in two well-characterized human breast cancer cell lines grown in vitro…The results revealed that the inhibitory effects were higher for the longer period of treatment and greater inhibition was caused by the remedies than by the solvent. Among the four remedies investigated, Carcinosin and Phytolacca, reproducibly revealed relatively higher inhibitory effects in replicate experiments…
In summary, our study demonstrates that the ultra-diluted natural product remedies prescribed in the ‘Banerji Protocol’ induce cell cycle delay/arrest… in breast adenocarcinoma cells.” All experiments were replicated in triplicate!
