A Message From Deb Dupnik,
NCH Executive Director
The Season of Giving: This is the time of the year that we all reflect on what we are thankful for and to really think about what is important in our lives. This year, the adults in my family decided that we all have enough stuff, and so rather than exchanging gifts, we will be making donations to charitable organizations that we support in honor of one another. There is something that feels good about this kind of giving, even more so than buying someone a new sweater or a gift card to their favorite store.
I am asking that you join me and consider making a donation to NCH in honor of someone who has made a difference in your life. Your donation is a way to demonstrate how much you value the work NCH has done for the past 45 years.
At NCH, our mission is to provide education and build awareness while advocating for access to homeopathy as a safe, effective and affordable system of medicine. Our website is visited by almost 4 million people each year as they search for reliable and accurate information about homeopathy.
Please join me on December 3, 2019, Giving Tuesday, and make a donation to NCH. Your generous donation in any amount will help NCH continue to provide information to the FDA, legislators, journalists, and the general public whenever needed, as well as continuing to support education in, awareness of, and increased access to homeopathy.

Recognize a Homeopath this Giving Tuesday!
Giving Tuesday is a movement built upon the belief that community is the most powerful force of change in the world. That makes this worldwide holiday of giving the perfect opportunity to strengthen, spotlight, and celebrate homeopathy and NCH.
This year, we would like to focus on honoring members of our community, and we need your help!
Please send us stories of your favorite homeopath, so we can share your experiences with the community.
Podcast: Paying Tribute to the Mother
You know about moms, right? They love you unconditionally; they want to see you do your best, they will knock down doors to help you achieve your goals’ and they'll brag about your accomplishments. We all deserve a mother figure like that, and NCH is the mother figure of homeopathy!
The staff and volunteers of National Center for Homeopathy do all of this for us - educating consumers about the benefits of homeopathy to build a market and potential client base, highlighting our good work in their magazine and on the website, advocating for our rights on the legislative front, and so much more.
Listen to this episode featuring interviews with Abby Marks Beale, immediate NCH past president, and Tina Quirk, current president of NCH.

How long have you been involved with homeopathy? How did you discover it, and what made you feel this was something you wanted to dedicate your life to?
I have studied homeopathy since 1991 when my son had repetitive asthma attacks. I was searching for something to address the root cause and I found homeopathy. I was already a chiropractor so adding homeopathy to my practice was a natural fit.

Alcohol Dependancy
A randomized comparative trial in the management of Alcohol Dependence: Individualized Homeopathy versus standard Allopathic Treatment.
A randomized controlled, open-label, comparative trial: The 80 participants were randomized either IH (individualized homeopathy) (n=40) or SA (standard allopathic/conventional medicine) (n=40) and treated with follow up for 12 months.
The statistics below show a substantially significant benefit from the individualized homeopathic treatment as compared with conventional medical treatment of people with alcoholism. A statistically significant difference was found in the number of drinking days (P = 0.001) and the number of drinks per drinking day (P = 0.004), favoring IH.

FEATURED OPPORTUNITY: Giving Tuesday - December 3, 2019
On #GivingTuesday, hundreds of thousands of people all over the world will fundraise on behalf of their favorite nonprofit organizations. A step above and beyond simply donating, fundraising for NCH helps spread the word about homeopathy among your friends and family and can be a game-changer. You can help us raise the critical funds needed to do the important work we do to educate and advocate for homeopathy.
In an increasingly divided world, #GivingTuesday represents a new global ritual based in joy and hope. Please plan to join us in support of the homeopathic community by making a donation to NCH on Giving Tuesday. We created a unique hashtag to help spread the word! #GivingHomeopathyDay
