A Message from Deb Dupnik,
NCH Executive Director

Happy New Year!

We welcome in the new year with some exciting news to report. The collective action of the homeopathic community was successful in getting the FDA to extend the public comment period related to their new proposed guidance. NCH will be providing additional information for the next steps for submitting comments to be sure your voice is being heard loud and clear by the FDA. We want to be able to protect access to homeopathic medicines. We support the high standards that manufacturers of homeopathic products follow to ensure products are safe and labeled correctly. NCH has eyes and ears on the FDA and we are working closely with other homeopathic organizations to keep our community informed.

Additionally, NCH is in the process of revamping its entire website to provide a more user-friendly experience! The new site is expected to go live in April. Plans are underway for our annual meeting which will be held in sunny Orlando, Florida - May 15-17, 2020. Registration will be opening soon.

I hope to see you in Orlando!

Observational study of quality of life in patients with headaches receiving homeopathic treatment.

This study based on observations of patients suffering from headache (migraine with- and without aura and tension-type headache) showed that more than 60% of the cases experienced an improvement in pain and the limitations caused by pain, as well as in limitations in social activities and health in general. All the differences between pre/post post treatment were statistically highly significant, with the strongest results in the 'bodily pain' and 'vitality' parameters (P < 0.0001).
