The National Center for Homeopathy (NCH) is pleased to announce that Alison Teitelbaum, MS, MPH, executive director, NCH, was selected by the Association Forum of Chicagoland and USAE weekly newspaper as one of the association management community’s 40 most accomplished and up-and-coming professionals under the age of 40. Teitelbaum will be recognized at the Forty Under 40 Awards reception on December 15 in Chicago, Illinois.
“It is a wonderful feeling to be recognized by my peers and colleagues for my work in association management,” said Teitelbaum. “I am passionate about what I do, and I hope I am making a difference in the world through the associations I have had the pleasure to serve. I look forward to continuing my commitment to bettering the lives of others by serving as NCH’s executive director.”
The Forty Under 40 Award recognizes Teitelbaum’s demonstrated high potential for success in leadership roles and her strong commitment to the association management profession. Teitelbaum became the chief staff executive for NCH in February 2013. Prior to joining NCH, Teitelbaum served as a resident expert in social marketing, social media, and evaluation strategy at a mid-sized social good health communications consultancy. She also served as the social marketing manager for the Interstitial Cystitis Association, where she led the organization through a complete communications transformation. Teitelbaum is actively involved in a number of professional organizations and currently serves as a member of the steering committee for the Health Communications Working Group (HCWG) of the American Public Health Association.
“Since coming to NCH, Alison has been an asset to NCH’s management structure, expanding education and communications initiatives, including executing a comprehensive rebrand for which NCH received an award from ASAE, a professional association for association executives,” said NCH president, Ann Jerome. “We are proud of Alison for her accomplishments and excited about the leadership she will continue to provide NCH that will advance our mission and reach.”
